Towering trees and seemingly bottomless lakes, rocks and boulders as insurmountable as mountains, and much bigger, much more dangerous creatures looking for a squishy snack. Barry can't imagine he tastes very good, but he's more than happy to stay out of their way anyway.
Young slimes don't get much in the way of parental guidance however, so for the time being, he just has to explore the dense forests on his own, trying and failing and learning as best as he can. It might be scary out here, but it sure is beautiful!
At the moment, he's splashing around in a shallow puddle, bouncing and squishing his little body around, enjoying how the water feels against his slippery gel-like exterior. The splashing water and the sounds of his soft giggles might be what draws the attention of another...]
